I grew up on a farm so far out in the country that my address was one town and my phone number was another. I graduated from Centura High School. I attended Hastings College and played basketball. I later transferred to the University of Nebraska at Kearney where I received my Bachelor of Science in Physical Science Education. During my second and third year of teaching, I got my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College. I have been teaching for 16 years and am currently in my 11th year at Northwest where I teach physical science, physics, and chemistry in the community. I also help with girls basketball.
My husband, John, and I have three beautiful girls, Jillian, Jolie, and Jaelyn. When they don't have their own activities going on they get to accompany me to many school functions. I'm sure you'll see us around!
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, sports of any type, anything outdoors, cooking/baking, and getting pedicures with Mrs. Martin.
